As a self proclaimed shoe addict I thought it was a necessity to make a post about easy and cheap shoe storage. Any mother totally obsessed with shoes herself will know how important it is to have a functional and fashionable shoe storage system. I mean every little girl deserves a shelf full of beautiful shoes (and so does her mother!). So here at Never Grow Up we wanted to show you some fun DIY projects you and your kiddo can do for fun and to save space!
First let’s start with something everybody has. Plain old white wire hangers. I don’t know about you but to us they seem the least functional (clothes always slipping off) and the least desirable type of hanger to look at! So let’s give them a little sprucing up shall we…
You can bend these smaller for baby and children’s shoes. Or bigger for your Momma shoes. Now no DIY post would be complete without our recommendations for what to hang on your new project would it?

If you have no extra closet space to hang shoes up in no worries! All you need is a empty wall, a wooden thread rack, spray paint primer, your desired spray paint colour, and a drill! All those items will create this beauty……
